DESIGN
SENIOR PRODUCT DESIGNER
About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our growing team and help shape the digital products we create for some of the most ambitious companies in the world. You'll work at the intersection of strategy, design, and engineering — turning complex problems into elegant, intuitive experiences.
At Pxlcraft, design isn't a phase in the process — it's the process. You'll have real ownership over the work, from early discovery and research through final implementation. You'll collaborate closely with developers, strategists, and clients to ensure every pixel serves a purpose.
This is a remote role open to candidates worldwide. We believe great talent isn't confined to a single timezone, and we've built our workflows to support asynchronous collaboration without sacrificing the quality of our craft.
What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end product design for client engagements, from research and wireframing through high-fidelity UI and prototyping
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, project managers, and client stakeholders to define requirements and design solutions
- Create and maintain design systems that ensure consistency and scalability across products
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to inform design decisions with real data
- Present design concepts and rationale to clients and internal teams, articulating the "why" behind every decision
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to the growth of our design practice
- Partner with engineers during implementation to ensure design intent is preserved in the final product
- Contribute to internal initiatives including our design blog, open-source tools, and studio culture
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI design, or a related discipline with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end work
- Deep proficiency in Figma, including auto-layout, components, variables, and prototyping
- Strong understanding of design systems methodology and experience building or maintaining component libraries at scale
- Excellent communication skills — you can explain complex design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working in agency or studio environments with multiple concurrent projects and client relationships
- A thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to interaction design, typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy
Nice to Have
- Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, Tailwind, React) — enough to prototype ideas and communicate effectively with engineers
- Familiarity with motion design principles and tools like Framer Motion, Lottie, or After Effects
- Background in brand design or visual identity systems
- Experience leading design workshops, sprint facilitation, or client discovery sessions
What We Offer
- Competitive salary range of $120k – $160k depending on experience, plus equity in the company
- Fully remote work environment — work from anywhere in the world with flexible hours
- Unlimited PTO with a culture that genuinely encourages you to take time off
- Comprehensive health and wellness coverage, including a monthly wellness stipend
- $2,000 annual learning budget for courses, conferences, books, and professional development
- Top-of-the-line equipment — MacBook Pro, external display, and peripherals of your choice
- A small, senior team that values craft, autonomy, and doing meaningful work
